PROJECT

JUDICIAL STRATEGIES AGAINST ALL FORMS OF VIOLENT EXTREMISM IN PRISON

J-S.A.F.E. is an European Project that supports judges and prosecutors to pronounce informed decision sentencings on cases of radicalization at all stages of the procedures through the use of the most appropriate risk assessment tools, also with the support of ‘Legal Expert of the Court for Radicalization Assessments’ and also support prison and probation staff in the execution of sentences through a coherent set of programmes and an integrated flow of information, parallel to ECRIS, among multilevel and multiagency stakeholders.

This project is co-funded by the European Commission – Directorate General for Justice and Consumers under the Agreement No 763714.

As a research and innovation procedure, the J-S.A.F.E. project needs to achieve high visibility across Europe and over.

Through a large-scale/cascade training program and a comprehensive, user-friendly European Technical Platform to assess and compare risks based on the existing diversified methodologies, J-S.A.F.E. project wants to reach all professionals, stakeholders and the wider audience involved in the integration process of prisoners and probationers such as judiciary and judicial staff, prosecutors, prison and probation staff, legal practitioners, judges, etc.
