Of the grant, half a million euros are to go to the International Committee of the Red Cross for medical aid for displaced people in Libya and other civilians affected by the conflict. The funding will go through the Libyan Red Crescent. Meanwhile, the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is be given €450,000 for its work in Libya. The same amount is to go to the International Organization for Migration to support the healthcare needs of migrants and supplies for them as well as for their return to their home countries. The funding is being organised in collaboration with the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
